How to Make Your Bot More Human

 

What is the best way to automate things? How can you take more off your plate? How can you do less work and get more work done?

 

You don't want to take too much out of your salespeople's hands or even your hands to keep that connection with your client.

You want to be able to connect with them on a one on one level so that you can build a trust funnel where they know who you are, they like you, they trust you and now they're even more apt to buy from you. If they don't trust you, they're not going to buy. You don't want to be that stepping stone. You definitely want to be the one that they go to in those times of need.

It's easy to become a commodity in the real estate space. How do you differentiate yourself?

You need to create a connection because if you create a connection, people are gonna walk past five other realtors directly to you. They know you and are going to work with you because you've delivered value. You've told a story that resonated with them, it reminded them that you were once in their shoes.

 

The average online lead takes 11 months to convert.

 

Your sphere will buy again in five years, but over 80% of them don't buy with the same realtor, why is that?

 

It's because of the lead nurture. This whole system is amazing at lead nurture. That's the reason why is because it helps to create that connection.

 

We have built an 11 month funnel. It takes people that amount of time to warm up to you and to finally make the decision. It's a big decision. It's a life altering thing with lots of money and a lot of long-term effects, some of these loans are 15 - 30 year fixed mortgage rates. It's definitely something people take their time on and don't rush into.

 

You need to be able to tell a story in a concise amount of time that's very efficient but also delivers tremendous value.

 

That's what your Bot should do. And it needs to be consistent over time.

 

The Bot we have built has a consistent persona.  If your Bot persona is very just blue collar person and is straight to the point all about business and that's your personality. Go for it.  Are you an aggressive salesperson or casual, class clown, enthusiastic, extroverted, introverted, joyful, practical? Whatever the persona is make it relatable. Your Bot shouldn't change personalities mid way through conversation. 

 

You should continue to build that connection through multiple conversations, but you shouldn't ever change the dynamic of that conversation.

 

Part of what we do is we put together a bot persona and the BOT persona is categorized in a bunch of different places.

When building a Bot, we like to give them a names. We also want to tie into the demographic that we're reaching out to. What is your target audience? What is going to be the age and gender, even the body type of my bot? What kind of educational background does your Bot have.  

 

What is it that is unique about your persona?

 

If you do not give your Bot a persona, the user will do that for you. So think about that when you're updating content or updating your bot to make it more personal to you. That's what we want you guys to do. We want you to make this personalized for you. So not only does it benefit you, but it benefits everybody. 

You want there to be one clear and concise Bot. This is who my, my bot is, this is what it does, and then have fun with it.

1.  Add little bits of voice, you can actually record snippets of your voice doing something personalized for people and sending it as a followup.

2.  Create some emotion and tell a story, you have different types of emojis, gifs, photos, videos, things in there that are providing value and they're giving it personality, then people can really create a connection to it.

3.  Facilitate that conversation more by continuing it, using your language, your conversation, or even sending a voice chat or updating images or pictures or gifs.   If the person has more questions on specific topics, this is where you can jump in with a voice note to provide the answer or ask them to hop on a call to explain further. 

4.  Change the bot persona.  One of the things that you can do with this chat bot is if you go under the live chat, there will be a checkbox that says "personas in live chat", you can actually click this and show your team member name and profile picture, you can actually change that picture as well. This can set up for your entire team so anybody that has login access, can see consistency across the board. 

 

Personalized content can even be created for each specific user. This way you're going to start drawing in more attention for your Bot and users. This allows your users to really get to know more about you.

 

Aside from what the Bot is talking about, you could add a specific nurture process that tells a little bit more about your backstory. Why you got into the industry, why you're doing what you do, and allowing people to start to recognize who you are instead of just saying, "Oh, this is a robot and I only go to the robot".

 Always keep in mind, if your bot is very binary and isn't engaging or isn't exciting, they're going to go find somebody else.
